Last weekend, Vanessa and Tyler were married while surrounded by their closest friends and family. They spoke their personal vows to one another while the Kiwanis waterfall was flowing in the background. When I first met Vanessa, she was so excited to wear her wedding gown. She just radiated with happiness and looked stunning in her dress. They were so sweet and cute towards one another throughout the day! Here is a their blog post.
I photographed this family quite a few years ago, when their youngest child was just a baby. Fast forward to 4 years later and here we are. They are so fun and loving and silly. I had a wonderful time photographing them again. Here are a few from their session.
Last Sunday morning was spent hanging out with this family. It was the perfect way to start my day. Plus the morning sun is always so pretty and even better when you’re out in the prairie. This family was so wonderful. I loved watching them interact and cuddle and laugh. Here are a few from their session.
On September 10, Jackie and Mike had their engagement session with me. This was exactly one year from their wedding date. It was such a beautiful day for the session and I hope next year brings the same kind of weather for them. Regardless, Jackie and Mike are so relaxed and natural around each other, it wouldn’t matter if there was a tornado. Seriously, I could have just kept on shooting that night. I have to say I am a bit obsessed with this session! I hope you love it too!
Tanya and Tony can speak to each other without words. They don’t need to open their mouths and tell each other how much they love one another. They just look into the other’s eyes and they know. I noticed this about them during our first meeting. It is such a beautiful thing the watch, let alone experience. Tanya and Tony’s wedding day was the same. I followed Tanya while her hair was getting styled at Lorena’s Hair Studio and then her make up at Sara Lindsay Studio. Afterwards she put on her wedding gown to meet Tony for their private first look. It was raining at the time and when Tanya reached Tony, instead of getting him to turn around she simply put her arms around him and they just stood there holding one another. It was a special moment between them and no words were needed. The silence was filled the love they share. Once the formal photos were complete, we headed to The Owl for their wedding ceremony and reception. Originally, they had planned to be married on Tanya’s family farm, however, they decided to move indoors since the weather stations were predicting rain. Regardless of the rain, the day was filled with so many amazing moments. Here is their day.
