Abby and Devon just celebrated their first anniversary. They wanted to celebrate in a unique way by having a photo shoot. For the shoot, they included their anniversary wine (made by the bridemaids), the top of their wedding cake and their pups. I think it is such a fantastic idea! I feel grateful that they choose me to document this for them. Here are a few from thier shoot.
July 2nd was a great beginning to a new chapter in Tricia and Ryan’s lives. They were getting married! The weather had been forecasting possible thundershowers, but it stayed away so Tricia and Ryan could enjoy their outdoor wedding. The wedding ceremony took place in front of the waterfall at Kiwanis Park in Regina, Saskatchewan. Tricia was walked down the aisle by her step-father and father in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown. Ryan anxiously waited for her arrival in his custom made Eph Apparel suit. They stated their vows in front of their closest family and friends. After their intimate ceremony, they went to an old barn and had photographs taken. The reception was held later at St. Mary’s Hall where they enjoyed a wonderful evening spending time with their closest family and friends. Thank you for letting me be part of your day! Here is your sneak peek.
Lisa and David’s vintage chic wedding was just that. And of course fantastic. The couples wedding ceremony took place at The Westminister United Church where David’s aunt officiated their union. Lisa walked down the aisle in her dress from New Line Fashion, while David watched her entrance in complete awe. Lisa and David are so in love and throughout the ceremony they just looked at each other and smiled. For their photographs, they included a vintage car with a history of marriages. The owner said that his grandparents, parents, and himself and his wife had used this vehicle for their weddings. Once photos were complete, Lisa and David enjoyed the evening with their friends and family at The Ramada Inn. Here are some images from their day. Congratulations!
A few weeks ago I headed to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to photograph Theola and Anthony’s wedding. I had facetimed with them numberous times prior to their wedding, so it was finally nice to meet them in person. However, just through our conversations, I knew that this wedding was going to be pretty amazing. And it was. Theola and Anthony are Optometrists from Calgary, Alberta, but they ended up in Saskatoon as it was a middle location for them and their families. Plus Anthony’s family also lives there. They had family members attend from all over, even as far as Hong Kong. Their outdoor ceremony was held at The Berry Barn and then their reception was at The Saskatoon Inn. Prior to the wedding ceremony, door games were played. Bridesmaids had Anthony and his groomsmen complete certain activities including having their legs waxed. Theola watched via facetime as Anthony answered questions about Theola and if he answered incorrectly, he had to choose an unknown drink. Once the games were finished, Anthony was able to see Theola and then a traditonal Tea Ceremony was held. After the tea ceremony, Theola changed into her Lis Simon wedding gown and met Anthony for a first look at The Berry Barn. The day was beautiful and their outdoor ceremony was perfect. The reception took place after pictures were done. The Saskatoon Inn Ballroom was filled with their closest family members and friends. Theola and Anthony decorated their venue and added some special touches like the Bean Boozled kissing game and sunglasses with moustaches to accent their professions. Here is their blog post to show it all. Enjoy!
Shoots like this one are so much fun. Austin turned 5 recently and his parents wanted to document this time in his life. He absolutely loves golf and so we headed to the gold course for his photos. He can definitely hit the ball better than me, so keep an eye out for him on the Pro circuit in 10 years. 😉
