Shoots like this one are so much fun. Austin turned 5 recently and his parents wanted to document this time in his life. He absolutely loves golf and so we headed to the gold course for his photos. He can definitely hit the ball better than me, so keep an eye out for him on the Pro circuit in 10 years. 😉
Natasha and Riley’s engagement was a family affair. Their three rescue dogs mean the world to them, so of course they were a big part of the story. Riley had placed the words “will you marry me” on the dogs collars. Riley was waiting for Natasha to come home just outside of their garage, while Natasha’s sister was hiding in the house and recording the whole proposal. Each dog greeted Natasha individually with their own note and after their third dog had the words “marry me” Riley got down on one knee and officially proposed. Natasha shared this video with me and it was such a special moment to witness. Here is their engagement session blog post. Enjoy!
June 3rd is the day it all started for Joanna and Jeremy. That was four years ago. They had gone on their first date to Atlantis Coffee and quickly realized they had so much in common. Their date continued on for hours as they sat on the bench at Victoria Park and then checked out the Farmer’s Market. Joanna and Jeremy felt a connection and this date was just the beginning of something more to come. Year after year, they would return to Altantis Coffee and Victoria Park on June 3rd to reminisce and celebrate their first date. Plus, June 3rd will continue to be celebrated by them, as they are getting married on June 3, 2017. So when we were planning their engagement session, choosing June 3rd was the most obvious choice. For their engagement session and their wedding, they are having a vintage/Parisian theme. I love all the details that Joanna brought for this session. It makes me even more excited to see what is in store for her wedding! Here is their blog post.
This shoot was so much fun! Renlee and Chase initially met during summer camp, so we thought the lake would be a great fit for this shoot. I think it worked out perfectly. I loved their playful and fun energy. They teased and laughed and enjoyed their time at the lake. Me too! They are just the cutest!! Here is their blog post. Enjoy, like, and share the love!
When I first met Laura and Jordan, their love for one another was quite apparent. But what really stood out was their zest for life and their energy and commitment. They met while both being employed at Joe’s Place in Moose Jaw, SK. The spark iginited and you can say the rest is history. Jordan eventually proposed to Laura while they were visiting his family in Manitoba. He had set up strings of lights in the trees while Journey spun on an old record player. Laura and Jordan worked hard to incorporate their love for exploring and nature as part of their wedding day. I think it turned out wonderfully. Here is their wedding day blog post. Enjoy!
