My first wedding of 2016 was with Miranda and Greg. They were married on a beautiful spring day. Their ceremony was held at St Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Regina, Saskatchewan. Ukrainian Catholic ceremonies are so beautiful when the priest places crowns on their heads or when he joins their right hands with an embroidered rushnyk and leads them around the tetrapod. After the ceremony was complete, we went out into the country for creative formal photographs. Miranda looked stunning with her Alfred Angelo dress from New Line Fashion along with a jean jacket for that country style. Her girls wore dresses from Lots of Looks while everyone wore Ariat Cowboy Boots. Their bouquets came from Gales Florist. The guys also had a country style as they wore jeans with their tops from Tux and Tails. And of course cowboy boots 🙂 We had tons of fun hanging in the country and they are able to get some down time before the party started. Their reception was held at the Turvey Centre and catered by Prestige One Catering. Dessert was a cake which was created by Sinfully Sweet to resemble a tree trunk and was surrounded by mini cupcakes. Miranda had made the centrepieces on the tables by using trees and barbered wire from the farm. Here is a little taste from their day. Enjoy!
I have photographed this family since Gavin was a baby. And now Gavin is a big brother to Hudsen. I could tell how excited Gavin was to show off his brother. This family has been so amazing to photograph over the years. I truly feel grateful that I have been able to document these moments in their lives. They love and laugh and play and it’s wonderful to watch and capture. Here is their sneak peek.
I have photographed hundreds of sessions and part of the deal is that my clients receive a USB flash drive with all their creatively enhanced images on them. What I love (and they love) about that is they can print as they wish. It makes me so happy when they send me photos of their prints on the wall. However, some people tend to have that USB hanging around for some time before they decide to print (myself included). These memories are so important and NEED to be printed.
Therefore, I am offering a 20% discount on 8×8, 10×10, and 12×12 (20 page spread) albums. The albums come in fabric or leather covers and have thick, sturdy pages. They are seriously amazing!
If you would prefer something on your wall, I am also offering a 15% discount on Barnwood Frames. They come with a fine art print of your choice inside. I love these too!!
This sale ends on April 24, 2016, so contact me to get your memories printed in a beautiful album.
This family said they had not had family photos for a long time. The boys decided to surprise their mom with a family session as a gift. As a mom with two young boys, I know how fast time flies and how important it is to doucment these times in your life. So obviously, I was super happy that I was they choose the capture this particular times in their lives. The lake is home to them and filled with many memories, so this was the most obvious place to photograph them. Here is their sneak peek. Enjoy!
Last year I photographed Courtney and Brandon’s wedding. Their wedding day was amazing. Fast forward to today and they are expecting their first child. I love that they chose me to photograph their maternity session. It was great to see them again and document these important moments. Courtney looked absolutely beautiful pregnant. Love her baby bump! Here is their blog!
